MOOD!!!! and higuchi is able to like actually write really exciting and well thought out games that arent about how individually skilled each player is. u can tell so much work goes into strategy and the teams working as a unit so each game just comes with new challenges and outcomes and learnin opportunities

The whole thing is that, yeah the taco thing was a joke, but it's one that plays into his character in the long run, so having a non-Mexican character, (ESPECIALLY a white one, seeing as how much certain white people love the culture but not the people), create the taco is culturally insensitive and it's just lazy to have all elves be pasty and green. Taako especially wouldn't be white bc he's a high elf, a race that almost exclusively includes brown shades of skin

yes definitely!! and like in the handbook it says how high elves/sun elves are typically bronze skinned and i agree the narrative of having just white elves is....eugh because like.....seeing it just makes me feel gross u know what i mean

Hey there!! Big fan of this blog. I'm not sure if the mod(s) knew about this so I felt it's worth mentioning- Soleil from Fire Emblem is coded as a lesbian, but one of her support conversations available to only the male protagonist is to brainwash her into liking men, specifically the protag. It's so gross how the writers treat her and tbh it bothers me to see a lesbian character written like that...

I remember that being like, a thing everyone was talking about a while back, and I’m upset to see a lesbian character treated that way. We posted her, because she was a submission, and I also think that canon situations like that should be treated as homophobia, and not be treated as the way the character actually is.
