If they may seem ooc it's because I’ve never written characters (in a romance story) this young before, but when I got this prompt the idea just popped into my head.

Pairing: Dipifica

Word Count: 615

Though she’d never admit it, as a 14-year-old girl Pacifica,tended to glamorize relationships in her head. Comparing them to movies, books,and tv shows, but dating Dipper Pines she quickly learned 14 year-old boys are not the bestat romance.

She did have to givehim credit though, he did try, but just because his intentions meant well didn’t meanthey would end well. So when he invited her to a planned picnic at the lake outof seemingly nowhere Pacifica was scared that this was going to be another “brilliant”idea he took from Mabel who took the idea from one of her many rom-coms.

The was date nice, but she was a little suspicious on how “perfect”everything was going. He was up to something and whether it’d turn out good orbad is unknown, but she decided to give him a chance. Pacifica watched theorange sun glow, setting over the lake making it shimmer, “This date was amazingDipper. I hate that it has to end so soon.”

“Yeah, I know…” Refusing to tear her eyes from the glimmeringwater Pacifica didn't notice when Dipper emptied his pockets or take off hissweater. “I foundthis lake Mabel pull us into the water with all of our clothes on, it was annoyingbecause we had to stay here until we dried off, but it was still fun. Maybe weshould try something like that sometime too, don’t you?"

Pacifica hummed in agreement only half paying attentionuntil her eyes snapped to Dipper’s who was wearing the biggest shit-eating-grinshe's ever seen. Taking her mindless hum as an approval, he swept her off the ground bridal style and she started to say "Dipper Pines don'tyou dar-" But was cut short by her own yelp as he jumped them into the water.

As they both emerged from the cold water, Dipper laughedabout how he wished she could have seen her own face. She slapped his arm andhe let out a sound of pain but didn’t seem to falter his mood. "You'resuch an idiot! Now we’ll have to stay here after dark!"

"Oh man! My bad." Dipper said with fake sincerityand the same smile as earlier, “but hey now our date can last longer and youcan see the view of the stars it’s great from this spot.” She wanted to befurious with him for doing this even if it was for her but after looking intothose stupid cute brown eyes, she couldn’t help but smile.

She splashed as much water as she could on his face only to have him do it back a moment later. Her new outfit was most defiantly ruined and her hair was probably a mess, but as one of her favorite qualities of her boyfriend, Dipper didn’t care at all. After a while of hard core water fighting Dipper dived under the lake and popped up next to her when she wasn’t expecting it hugging her by the waist surprising her making her yelp again.

Slowly they calmed down and she turned to him bumping her nose with his. "You know I'm going to get you back for this,right?"

"Yeah I know, but it’ll be worth it."

She thought for a moment he was maturing romantically, but as if the universe had made its mission toprove her wrong, Dipper completely ruined the moment by splashing water in Pacifica’sface when she closed her eyes to kiss him. He swam away, laughing, edging herto chase him. Pacifica rolled her eyes once again accepting that 14 year-old boys are not the best at romance, but at leasthe's trying.

My biggest pet peeve is inattention in a conversation, if that can count. This is especially true in text form, or when I’m asking a question and need a direct answer. If I ask a yes/no question and get something other than a yes/no, I will be annoyed. If I ask a time/place question and get any other kind of answer, forget about it. If I give clear, consistent, written and oral directions on how to do something, and then someone has no idea what to do because they weren’t paying attention, consider me in the grave. Given how much this happens in my classes, I am basically a ghost teacher.

my school is so anti-LGBTQIA+ and it’s not hostility most of the time it’s generally just ignoring the issue entirely 

and I work with a social justice group on campus that literally has 5 people and we can’t do much but we were going to do a video campaign on LGBTQIA+ experiences on campus bc no one ever talks about that and the isolation is real

and we were having trouble getting people to do interviews but we got enough people today and we’d had meetings and met tonight to go over the final stuff - even planned a date for filming the videos

so every thing was green-lighted and I was really excited about it, especially bc it’s important now more than ever with the new bullshit religious freedom law in indiana

except they cancelled it. I just got a text saying they fuCKIGN CANCELED IT and there’s nothing I can do bc it’s just not important enough to squeeze in to the last month of school and they “wish me luck” next year except I’m nOT GOING TO BE HERE I’d rather be in debt than go to this awful school for one more minute

EDIT: and I KNOW it’s bc of this law. I know it is they’re afraid of the reaction right now bc the lgbtqia+ people here aren’t important enough to risk the pushback from administration
