1. How/when did you get into hockey?

it was really the olympics that got me hooked. realizing thee hilary knight played in my city was very very cool, even though she was on IR for most of the games I went to. but I had definitely been primed by a few things: heated rivalry ofc, the fact that it was the torrent's inaugural season, working on a kind of tangentially related project at work, already being a baseball fan. the timing was just right.

5. If you’re a fan for a team in a city you don’t live in, how did you pick them? If you’re a fan of your local team, do you follow any non-local teams?

sort of! I follow the white sox and cubs because I lived in chicago for quite a while (I am NOT a blackhawks fan, but if chicago ever gets a pwhl team...). on the hockey side of things, I'll be following pwhl san jose next year in addition to the torrent! and I like the victoire when they're not playing my teams. I have enough sharks and penguins fans as friends that I casually keep up with how they're doing.

25. What is your favorite thing about watching hockey?

women<3. no but actually, I do love following the players as athletes and celebrities, but my favorite part is genuinely just the technical and physical skill behind the game. I love competence.
