HAH! I’m pretty sure @sonickitty clocked 100 of those hits personally.  But hey, I didn’t mean to come off as complaining about the ratio!  Some of the loveliest conversations/comments I’ve ever had were on that story, and there’s a lot to be said for quality over quantity.  Some fics make you want to leave kudos, and some fics make you want to leave comments, and all are good.

TBH I LOVE your rants about students and about the classical world. I LIVE FOR THEM. This is the first week of our first semester (woo! upside down university!) and I'm stressed enough by having to deal with students again that I'm hoping you get annoyed and post more about your academia adventures soon - preferably in fire-spitting-rant-mode.

Oh man, I'm so glad you enjoy that rather than finding it offputting!  I've got another 120 person class this semester so it's pretty much a sure bet I'll get some gems around midterms.  Siiiiiiigh midterms.

Cause I just went to a gig on Mon I wanted to remind you that the Australian punk band The Smith Street Band exists and that, guaranteed, Stiles and Scott ca. the end of their first big tour got wasted and skateboarded around Beacon Hills screaming the lyrics to Young Drunk. Derek, the dd, followed them around in his mom's car, rolling at 20 mph and shaking his head. Lydia hung out the window and drummed along on the side of the car.
