Current problem: it seems the best approach to my senior project would be something lgbt related the problem being I go to a conservative Christian school and would have to out myself

welp, this is it. I'm officially on anti-anxiety medication and I don't know how to feel. Part of me is saying, "Yes! I've been working so hard to take control of my mental health, and this is a good next step." But part of me is saying, "Well shit, this means that I wasn't good at taking care of myself, this is me giving up, I'm a weak person, etc." And then part of me is terrified of this medication changing me as a person, how it could hurt me, etc. Is this rational? Am I just freaking out too much?
