Duke and Duchess of Kent enter the church, followed by “the controversial” Princess Michael of Kent. LOL.
Edward and Andrew arrive. Some rather pointed talk about “intellectual” Edward’s military service. I love Charles Spencer’s commentary. He is spilling ALL the tea. This is the best royal wedding commentary I’ve ever heard. The minor royals “get trotted out” and “have no say.” Edward’s post with the Marines is “a safe berth” for members of the royal family.
HM and Phillip arrive. Lovely blue dress for HM, but a more feminine, flowing style than she uses now. Charming, but not as authoritative as the more structured coats she now favors.
The Queen Mum is such a superstar. She overshadows HM with her personality.
Di’s polka dots!!!! There must have been a blue dress code. The carpet is blue and everyone is wearing blue.
Fergie sets off in her coach. The floral tiara looks amazing. Really, one of my favorite wedding looks.
