Royal Summer Style
Well, summer is officially here! And while the world might not be back to normal yet, I thought I would take a look at the style of some royal ladies for the summer season. Here are some of my favorite summer outfits in no particular order:
Crown Princess Mary of Denmark- I’m obsessed with this light, airy pink dress and I love the way the Crown Princess has styled it. The burgundy belt adds a nice contrast and brings out the lightness of the print, plus the pointy baby pink heels are a nice touch.
Catherine, The Duchess of Cambridge- We know it’s summer when the Duchess attends the Wimbledon tennis championships. She wore this baby blue Emilia Wickstead dress last year. She accessorized with pearl drop earrings, nude heels and the All England Tennis Club pin.
Crown Princess Victoria & Princess Sofia of Sweden- I’m obsessed with these gowns that they wore to a friend’s wedding last year. Victoria is wearing Jenny Packham and Sofia is in Ida Sjostedt. Both great colors and with interesting details.
Queen Letizia of Spain- No one does summer style like Queen Letizia. For the annual family photoshoots in Mallorca, the queen knows how to serve us the perfect summer looks. This LWD (little white dress) with wedges is making me envious for summer.
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex- This yellow Brandon Maxwell dress is really gorgeous and is the perfect summer sheath dress. It’s also perfectly styled with minimal accessories. Makes me want to get out in the sunshine!
Princess Madeleine of Sweden- I love this light, airy feeling outfit. The monochrome look is perfect with the pop of color from the earrings
Royal Event: Wedding of Crown Princess Victoria & Prince Daniel of Sweden
On June 19th, 2010 Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria married her true love, Daniel Westling in a ceremony in Stockholm. The wedding was a huge event since Victoria is Sweden’s heir to the throne, so naturally there were around 1100 guests at the ceremony. The couple’s family, friends and fellow royals joined them in the festivities. Now the couple have two children- Princess Estelle (b. 2012) and Prince Oscar (b. 2016).
The bride wore a gown by Par Engsheden, the Cameo Tiara and earrings and Roger Vivier heels.

As a royal, the Duchess of Cambridge has undertaken multiple overseas tours since her wedding in 2011. With the UK’s connections to other Commonwealth nations, William and Catherine are often called upon by the Foreign Office to visit countries.
2011- Canada and North America
Just months after their April 2011 wedding, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge carried out their 1st overseas tour to Commonwealth nation, Canada, and California.
2012- Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu)
To mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, William and Kate visited several countries in southeast Asia.
2014- Australia and New Zealand
This was their first tour with Prince George!
Christmas with the Duchess of Cambridge
Traditionally, Catherine will spend Christmas with her in-laws at Sandringham House in Norfolk. She and William have an weekend home on the Sandringham estate, Anmer Hall, and will retreat there for the holidays. However, Catherine has also spent Christmas Day with her family, The Middletons TWO times since becoming a royal.

Royal Event: Japanese Enthronement
Enthronement activities of the new Japanese emperor, Naruhito, took place from October 22-24 in Tokyo. Many foreign royals attended the enthronement ceremony and other events like the gala and reception. Royal ladies brought out their gowns, hats and tiaras for the festivities.
