I finally had some long awaited time off from work during the last couple of weeks, part of which involved a trip to Spain with hubby for 3 days of trail riding around the Andalusian countryside.  It was both exhilarating and nerve wracking at the same time.  Of course I couldn’t go all that way and not make the most of a photoshoot opportunity in a nearby olive grove.  Steve, our guide was very obliging and hubby didn’t complain about being involved!  I had to make the most of this session, as I can’t be trusted to carry by camera gear out on the trails - I have a tendency to fall off my bike!  I have vowed to improve my trail biking skills.

Thank you to Steve and his good wife, Kay of http://www.trailworldspain.com for being very welcoming and accommodating during our stay.  Their facilities and whole set up is excellent.  We hope to go back there one day.

A few photos of the some of the competitors at the supbikerun#07 event at Bassenthwaite Lake end of September. This was the last of the unique tri event 2016 series, where competitors stand-up paddle, then mountain bike and then run. You have the Warrior and Barbarian categories too. The Barbarians do the whole thing twice!  The #supbikerun events are very friendly and welcoming with a great supportive atmosphere.  Hubby goes to compete. I go to support him and photograph some of the event. Win win ;)

What a fun photoshoot this was in the Forest of Dean yesterday! It was a pleasure to have witnessed and photographed these ballsy ladies practising their downhill mountain biking skills run by #amandatanfield.  They showed great team spirit helping each other out

Every once in a while I have some tiny models who help me out.  They always do as they’re asked and they don’t complain or answer back.  Of course, I’m not talking about real folk.  These are about 2.5cm tall; tiny, but big on amusement factor.  Well, they amuse me anyhow.  They bring out the inner child and for some reason I’ve always been fascinated by miniature things.  The Borrowers was my favourite childhood book, so in my mind it stands to reason that I’d have some miniature friends of my own one day... ;)
