what an ending lol. i for one am pretty content with how it ended, even though i hurt a lot little with orca’s death , but then so did the rest of knife. i do agree with the author in a superhero setting they’d set up like that, it was only fair that if baekmorae had to die to make a statement then so did everyone involved (even if medusa was given a choice) and i’d especially rather that than baekmorae having to take out more of spoon.
but very last chapter yeaaaa, the epilogue, i was happy to see everyone doing well in their own little way. raptor is finally thriving with her mom braid lol and she’s still stuck with haze (who btw i have a preference for his voice in-game) and they’re still taking care of stell lol. also dune quit to become a daycare teacher (it’s what he deserves) and judas still doing his fork thing. guineung still doing secretarial work with the chief nd dana looks like a whole-ass chief with her hair growing out nd im gonna miss seeing her every friday or so aaaaaa.
but yeah main team the biggest change outta all. hyena is not exactly as terrifying as high school dana but boy do they have their similarities. she didn’t even have to call out a single demon nd hyena can take care of herself perfectly well. and my raven boy. sasa your new fit matches with naga a bit doesn’t it? i think someone said he was constantly by naga’s side and that’s relieving to see that he sticks to his role as the ‘dependent sunbae’ plus naga keeps saying he wants to quit lol. naga our main man... he did wonderfully.
also gonna at least screenshot to one panel which i think is the prettiest in the epilogue:
lol @ naga and osu breaking the fourth wall, but naga coming out to talk to osu one-on-one means a lot since that means naga continues to take osu’s advice to heart (esp as an adult hero fed up with criminals’ & executives’ shit) and then when naga says he comes out to check out if no.2 comes out like... i like naga but this just makes me super glad he’s our mc since after all that shit of getting caught up with no.2′s guilt for baekmorae, naga still cares about him in a way. actually with the end of this epilogue, naga really cares about being a hero despite complaining the whole time to koran(?) right? not the fact the reputation that comes with being a hero ofc bc he said so himself that his personality doesn’t match this job. but just at the end of the day, naga wants to help people so if he saved someone’s life or helped make it better then that’s what matters to him. i know there’s so much more to it but generally that is what being a hero is to naga nd i respect him for that.
im gonna miss this webtoon i really am. i was honestly put off by the art style but that comedy really does pull you in and then came out dana nd really the whole cast of spoon plus side characters (even knife at times even tho they got what they had coming to them) so idwtkoh became one of my faves. while i do think there was so much more they could do with it, i’m glad the author decided to end idwtkoh where it ended. they saw their end goal for idwtkoh and they delivered right to it so i’m glad i was here to stick through to a wonderful webtoon :’) please add anything else cause i missed a lot i bet haha.
this is interesting to me and, as lost as i am, osu says he believes in no.2 yet it seems like he’s on the opposite side of no.1? cause earlier, it seemed that no.1 was trying to kill baekmorae himself (i’m assuming) so his brother didn’t have to watch him die. but osu who thinks of no.2 as an adoptive father/older-brother, he’s on the side of their immortal family, that he’d rather have no.2 learn his lesson as well that you shouldn’t place family above others. which is also kinda confusing since osu is also no.2′s adoptive son/brother so in that logical sense of things, osu would rather that no.2 place the lives of others above osu’s. now that i can believe more so since i get some sorta of inferiority vibes from osu so he would lower himself above the sake of innocent others.
but all that dialogue before, it feels like osu was trying to reason with himself that what he’s asking (or supporting of her/spoon’s plan for baekmorae) of is like the end of all means. kinda? the end of baekmorae will finally set no.2 straight that he’s meant to help save lives rather than support one life who’s ending them, kinda thing? that’s what the immortal family was thinking as well, i think, though as more as a punishment for no.2 following baekmorae but also their plan will eventually set him straight.
also is prolly not that deep, and yes bc dana is also in charge of this plan, but did osu speak about this specifically with dana, cause it’s what he expects of her too? i think it’s canon that osu isn’t aware of her feelings for him, but you can easily substitute as ‘i believe that you will put citizens first as a hero above your own feelings’ and honestly, idwtkoh could’ve gone further with that. i personally would’ve loved an arc where dana has to choose osu over innocent lives though with a comedic ending but we missed that chance lol. anyway i feel like im 80% wrong on all of this so LOL.

first off!!! osu calling out to dana specifically reminds me of that other time he called her out like:
it seems like dana’s in a different neighborhood than the one showed above, even though she’s prolly around spoon’s building since in this point of idwtkoh they’re close to catching knife, however… osu caught her once again nd we’ve been knowing he’s been meaning to talk to her so… has he been remembering her fave spots again hmm?
and then he’s striking a convo with dana which parallels back to the older chapter like:
i mean, yaaa obviously, she’s bleeding (he says so himself lol) so he’ll ask but i think it’s a nice progression that in their recent interaction, he can just tell from looking at her: it’s more of a mental strain than physical (and two panels before dana looks to be super stressed) so… osu concering himself over dana’s health is prolly a cordial thing, but for someone whose always sick, i’d like to think he’s extra concerned about dana’s health, which we all know she’s as healthy as healthy can be.
ohhhh don’t get me started about that final panel… dana sheepishly rubbing her hand and i think it’s so cute that the one person that fazes her into not only blushing but really gets those sweatdrops going is osu lol? also i love in this flashback she’s squinty-smiling ???? i know when some people like genuinely smile, their eyes kinda squint together so…… this is how we know this is dana’s reaching point of happiness hahaha.
nd i guess while i’m here, might have to address the rest of the flashback, which ill have to admit is kinda scheme-y on osu’s part?
hmm i’ll have to say i think dana is aware (or at least suspects a bit) of osu’s ultimate goal here (to end baekmorae’s whole career ofc)? she accepts the invitation but not the money (which i honestly dont know what that means other than the fact to get an invitation, you have to be insanely wealthy nd spoon is a gov’t organization isnt it?) and then i think she finally accepts both (plus another invitation) cause osu apologized… and states the other invitation is for… raptor? im wondering if he came up with that on his own (tho he’s aware of no.2 history with baekmorae, did no.2 mention anything about baekmorae and raptor?) but it seemed like dana figured it out by talking with yeomho?
idk but i am soooo glad that osu didn’t go for what you commented earlier, like, it definitely looks like that dana sticks her foot down and tells him ‘hey thanks for all the help but you shouldn’t concern yourself about this’ but damn osu has to pull that apology and that extra invitation.... he has been planning that’s for sure. i like that this flashback does show more of osu that’s like... i don’t wanna say manipulative, but he knows what he’s tryna do and i think it’s glaring to dana even if she adores him so much... so anyway i have stupid b*tch disease nd can’t make of anything else but just have this panel of osu regarding dana with what im gonna say is worry, even if she says ‘don’t worry about it’
but yeah that’s my two cents lol @yuissamidare i’m sure you have much more coherent sensible thoughts about this nd i’d love to hear them if you will!!!
hmm.... i have been thinking about this a lot lately... how do you think osudana will hendle jealousy... i dont think dana's the type to get jealous even though shes overprotective of osu But i think osu has a lot of self image issues due to his health n his up bringing and even though he might me like :) he secretly doesnt think hes good enough n gets nervous dana will think that too if she meets someone better

i mean, i don’t think dana would think about jealousy? like, it’s good enough to her that she already has a pretty close relationship with the person she likes (like she gets invited to his house & goes out for dinner 1-on-1) so for anyone else to get close to osu is just. irrelevant perhaps? i know what you mean by overprotective since i would think... since osu is extremelyyyy wealthy or at least a heir to some amount of money, he’d approached by people with wrong intentions so that’s when dana’s overprotectiveness kicks in? also i think in korean culture, there are like arranged marriage meetings and since osu’s dad thinks he knows what’s best for osu..... maybe jealousy is applicable to dana then? not that osu would ever want to attend those (out of courtesy to shut up his father nd he’d tell dana he’s only there to reject the other party) but i think the author would play for humor if that were to happen, dana just busting through the front door anyway nd she walks up like... don’t you dare fall for my angel nd the other party falls for dana on sight lmao. but yeah i think dana thinks the only connection osu has that matters is between him and her haha.
and then for osu hmmm i mean it’s so unnerving right, like your wife is the kickass imposing chief of heroes and girls have confessed to her before so like it’s not like she doesn’t have other options... i do agree with you there that osu has self-image issues like he’s been sick and criticized his whole life and to finally meet someone who loves him for who he is... and dana at that? it’s unreal and it’s a dream and dreams aren’t real so reality has play some part where someone better waltz right in her path... i can totally see that, wow, and the funny thing is despite all these serious reasons, i think osu can come clean to her about his insecurities (i do feel like with all healthy couples, they especially can be honest to each other) and dana knows they’re unbelievable since in her head, it’s always been her one and only osu, but these are his genuine concerns so. they’d talk it through with a lot of thoughts considering, work it out, and yanno grow respectively in their relationship and as individuals. that’s true love b abe!
