Found this character sheet and it looked like fun!
The other good part of reorganising my bookshelves is I found my Aimo sketch card! I was terrified I'd lost this (it was, of course, exactly where I thought I'd left it).
This was a birthday present from my best friend so it has a lot of sentimental value.
me: how about we finish some WIPs?
my muse: ok but how about we draw Shepard’s muscles
me: understandable have a nice day
Romance asks incoming: 1 and 2 for Brynne/Fenris, 17 for Sarka/Kaidan and 11 for Syriah/Alistair please :)
1. What drew your character to their LI and vice versa?
In their early talks, Brynne was fascinated by this prickly, elegant man who likes to use wine bottles for interior decoration. Once she realised you can’t be taken in by his jaded exterior, she was intrigued by how sophisticated he could be and wanted to know more. His rare, fleeting smile when she flirted drew her in.
Also, Fenris has a savage wit. That definitely helped.
On Fenris’s end, he’d never met someone so open and optimistic as Brynne. She wasn’t angry when she learned he was the one who’d hired her–no’ she jumped in with both feet to help him clear Danarious’s manor. And she did this for everyone, stopping to talk to the people that everyone else ignored. Fenris was intrigued and honestly confused that someone like her could exist.
2. What was the first moment that they knew they were in love with their LI?
At the Hanged Man, sometime in Act 2 but before A Bitter Pill. The whole gang was there playing Wicked Grace. Fenris bluffed and scored his first victory against Isabela. Maybe it was the atmosphere, maybe it was the way his eyes glowed with victory, maybe it was his smoky laugh. But in that moment Brynne could only think, oh. That’s where you’ve been my entire life.
Then he raised his drink to her in a silent toast she knew she was done for.
17. Their ways of expressing their love.
Shepard and Kaidan are both physical people, but both of them are used to hostile contact in battle. They’re also used to maintaining a respectable distance in front of other people. So their number one way of expressing love for each other is via cuddling. Under the table, they’ll bump knees or hold hands. They’ve also perfected the soulful looks across the room.
They’re also super protective of each other in the field. Nothing says ‘I love you’ like blowing through a half-dozen enemies because one shot your partner.
On Kaidan’s end, he likes cooking for Shepard. She likes finding old movies he’d enjoy for them to watch.
11. Do they have any inside jokes?
Besides the classic ‘lick a lamppost in winter’ and 'Warden appetite’? Syriah and Alistair joke that cheese is the second love of his life. One time Syriah went so far as to carve a doll from cheese for him, except he ate it half-finished in the middle of the night when he was hungry and half-asleep.
Syriah has a tendency to threaten people with violence when they don’t co-operate. So whenever a nonliving thing gives her trouble, Alistair will say something like ‘threatening violence isn’t the answer’ or ‘you know that pan is terrified of you, right? That’s why it keeps burning the food.’
After Redcliffe they have the saying 'at least it isn’t crawling with undead’ whenever something goes wrong. They can’t use it as often as they’d like.

Ask me about my OCs’ relationships!
for the romance asks: 18 - brynne/fenris; 11 - sarka/kaidan' 26 - sosu/nate
18. Is there any way they disappoint each other?
As much as Fenris loves Brynne and secretly loves her unending well of compassion, he’s frustrated that she never learns. Brynne will continue to help people until it bites her in the ass, and then she’ll help people some more (Exhibit A: every person you help in DA2 only for them to turn on you later). Fenris is very much ‘once burned, twice shy’ so he doesn’t get it. At all.
Brynne’s honestly a little disappointed that Fenris can be pretty close-minded and negative about mages, but she understands it comes from years of abuse at Danarius’s hands so it’s not an unfounded fear.
11. Do they have any inside jokes?
If either Shepard or Kaidan claims to be 'reading reports’ on their omni-tool, they’re really playing Tetris. Or Doom (I refuse to believe no one was able to port Doom to an omni-tool). Everyone else buys the story, so Shepard and Kaidan can trade a few smirks when no one’s watching.
They never dob each other in.
26. How important is the romance in your OC’s overall story?
Well I mean I’m the lady who wrote two AUs where both Kaelyn and Nate live and I have an idea for a third lord have mercy so I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t important. That said, my ideal romance as a reader/gamer is a subplot so that’s what I write. Their worlds don’t revolve around each other. There are bigger problems in the Commonwealth for them to tackle. They can both make it on their own (and when I don’t blithely ignore FO4 canon, Kaelyn does).
TL:DR their romance is important, but not all-encompassing.

Ask me about my OCs’ relationships!
When this idea first came to me, I knew I wanted a portrait of Shepard relaxed and out of armour. As it came together, it settled in my head that Kaidan would be off screen but definitely present -- after all, she wouldn't be smiling like that at a pillow, right? And so this became a photo that Kaidan snapped sometime between the Battle of the Citadel and the destruction of the SR-1 and he would keep close for those lonely two years while Shepard was dead. This piece is inspired by KaanaMoonshadow's 'Nothing More than Memory...'
