Ooh, asks... what are a few friendships on the show that you think had potential and you would've liked to see more of? And are there any plots or scenarios or songs you would've liked for those friendships? xx

I'm so bad of thinking of songs but let's see...

Definitely more Hevans friendship. I think I wrote it out somewhere, how I wanted the end of 2x04 to go. Instead of Rachel getting three duets in one ep lmao. Sam would be the one to come up to Kurt at the end and say he wanted to sing with him. And Kurt's like "the contest is over and you already won so what's the point" and Sam is like "I'm not doing it for free dinner I'm doing it bc I want us to be friends" or whatever and then they can have a lil duet at the end. Bc Kurt needed duets with people who weren't Blaine or Rachel damn it. Also they literally lived together and we got fuck all. How does that make sense

Also Puckurt. Bc we like to pretend (yes myself included) that he was all like ultimate ally captain of the Klaine ship etc etc but I literally don't think he spoke to Kurt even once after 2x06 shooing him off to Dalton (: So that's fun. Would've loved to see more of Puck's growth in regards to Kurt. At least apologizing for how he treated him in s1

Santana and Marley. I wish they'd done more with their little mentorship in 4x08 instead of drudging up petty high school drama with Santana and Quinn again. Idk they could've had at least one scene where Santana really empathizes with Marley and what she's going through, and tries to talk her out of the way she's going about things, bc Santana knows first hand how damaging it can be

Sam and Marley also. They had like one little thing where Sam says his mom used to also switch the labels in his clothes so they look like they cost more but idk. They could've been odd job buddies. And you know Sam's siblings would love Marley. Although for all we know his family is still in Kentucky and he hasn't seen them in a year lmao

Kurt and Artie! I wanted to see them bond in s1 over being the only actual "loser" guys in the club bc they weren't on the football team. We saw Kurt fixing Artie's tie or collar or whatever before school pictures. That x100 please

Quinn, Mike, and Blaine. Horrible fathers, striving to do well in school, living in an older sibling's shadow (at least 2/3). They had plenty to bond over

Klaine and Kitty. They're best friends in my mind. I can't explain it they just are

And then obviously like the stuff we did get content for but. It wasn't enough. It's never enough!! Kurtana, Kurtcedes, Sancedes, friendly Pezberry lol. Did Blam speak at all in s6 outside of the dead last ep? Ahh who needs all that messy friendship crap. Just push it to the side so we can have more scenes of Sue in her fourth wall breaking storage locker

Sam felt so bad for Marley when they said those things about her mom

He tried to fix things and they started to hang out as friends

They were volunteers in a group to help homeless people

Both of them worked in a pet shop and they played with the puppies when there was no costumers in the store

They were just friends

Marley talked about Jake with Sam and Sam talked about Brittany with Marley

Marley showed Sam her songs and he love them

He was so happy when he asked him and Unique and Blaine to sing with her You Have More Friends Than You Know (god I love that song so much)

season 5

They became closer when Brittany left to MIT

Sam was sad because he really liked her and they were really good friends and Marley tried to cheer him up

Marley took him to a Taylor Swift concert because she knew how much he loved her and she loved her too. She took extra shifts to be able to pay for the concert tickets

They had a lot of fun and after that Sam bought Marley a guitar because she wanted to learn how to play it like Taylor

They are huge swifties

Marley’s mom loves Sam because she have dinner at her house all the time after work

They promised to keep in touch after senior’s graduation

Sam send Marley of that bus with a picture of himself in underwear and she was so proud of him

season 6

Sam told Marley he was back to McKinley and they started to hanging out again. Even though she was transferred to another school, she still lived there

Marley was still working at the pet shop and Sam visited her all the time after work

She always talked about how much she wanted a puppy and she was in love with a baby golden retriever from the store

Sam adopted him for her and they called the dog Taylor because TAYLOR SWIFT

Sam felt his heart beating so fast when he saw Marley’s happy face and he found himself thinking about her all the time

She was so happy and she started to think about how much of a good friend Sam always was and how much she loved to spend time with him

Sam asked her on a date and she said yes immediately

They went to a Harry Potter exhibition and they had a blast. Sam bought them Hufflepuff scarfs and wands

One time they went to a picnic in a park and Marley cooked cupcakes for them. Sam sang Love Grows (this is my favorite and now I proclaimed it the official Sarley’s song (except for all of the Taylor Swift’s songs)) and they had their first kiss

By the end of the season 6 they were secretly but Brittany, Santana and Mercedes knew (I don’t have an explanation for that) and they were so happy for them

They live together in Lima in the same neighborhood as Brittana and Quick

Sam is Brittana’s children biological father because they needed someone and he offered himself and they thought that was so cute and “he’s hot so why not?”

They don’t have kids but their dog Taylor is like their child

They babysit Brittana’s kids on Brittany and Santana date night. And same for Puck and Quinn

Because they just love kids

They took them to amusement parks and movies and they play games with them at their home when the kids spend the night there

Sam writes notes for Marley every morning like “I love you” “you’re my sunshine” “read me Harry Potter fanfic tonight? Love you” just adorable things

Game nigh at Brittana’s every week (like in all of my headcanons). Santana and Marley prepare the house and cool and Sam and Brittany choose the games and sometimes the fight about it because Brittany wants to play Just Dance every time and Sam wants to play SingStar. Santana and Marley think they are two hilarious kids

They do something new every day and they are just so will in love

They live happy together until this day

i don’t really like them as a romantic pairing, but i love them as friends!

what was your first impression of everybody?

Oh um...I guess I’ll go in order of how I met them

Kurt: Kurt was super nice to me right off the bat, so it was easy to become friends with him right away. He and I bonded over coffee runs and chats about what we wanted out of our lives. I’m very lucky to have him.

Sam: When Kurt introduced me to Sam, I was nervous cause what if he didn’t like me, but he’s treated me like a big brother the whole time I’ve ever known him.

Jesse: He’s a bit of a flirt and a bit of an egomaniac but in all the best ways. He’s very full of himself, but he’s very talented and on the rare occasion you can get him to open up to you, you’ll never find anyone better to talk to.

Finn: He’s a super nice guy and very fun to talk to. I’m very grateful that he’s taken to inviting me to hang out...I’m in need of a good group of friends

Rachel: She’s been so kind to me. And listening to her do her morning warm ups have definitely made me want to do a little more with my own voice.

A NECESSARY INTRODUCTION

This is Sam Evans. He is 20 years old, currently a Junior at McKinley and his concentration is Drawing. He is pansexual , and it is said he looks like Chord Overstreet. Lucky for you he is taken.

WHO WILL I BE? ITS UP TO ME

Sam Evans hails from Nashville, Tennessee, where he lived most of his life with his parents and two younger siblings. There is a close bond between all members of the Evan’s family, which has helped Sam to grow up into the positive, friendly guy that he is.

With Dwight Evans recent job transfer, Sam and his family were moved from Tennessee to Ohio. When he transferred to McKinley, Sam’s main goal was to score a position on the football team and be labeled a popular kid in hopes of keeping off any bully’s radar.

Now that McKinley has changed, Sam initially decided to leave the school. He’s a football player, and he was here on a sports scholarship. But his love of music and performing kept him at the school, and landed him a member in The Duly Noted. Having attended an all boys school back in Tennessee, it seemed like a nice fit. Plus, he’s even convinced his advisory to make his sports scholarship a performing one.

As confident as Sam seems on the inside, he’s actually pretty insecure. He’s never been made fun of for his body or his looks, really (aside from the occasional jab) but he takes everything to heart and criticizes himself at every turn. He doesn’t usually think he’s a good enough performer or even looks the part, something he’s tried to hide behind a good mask of confidence and a charming smile. 

Sam loves performing more than most things but if there was anything that trumps it, it’s art. He’s been drawing since he was a kid and is actually pretty good but rarely shares his work with other people. Not that he necessarily thinks it’s bad but he’s not sure if he’s up to revealing his more personal work to the public and possibly getting a bad reception. 

Because of his relationship with his younger siblings, Sam is protective of others especially people younger than him. He always wants to lead a helping hand and be sort of their mentor in a way, if he can. He knows how people struggle and how hard it can be to work your way up so if he can make someone else’s time a little easier? Sam will do just that.

THE LITTLE BLACK BOOK

Blaine Anderson (+): Sam and Blaine hit it off the second they both joined The Duly Noted. While Blaine has been apart of The Duly Noted since he was able to audition and Sam heavily considered joining The New Directions, they didn’t let their previous show choir rivalry stop what could possibly be the best friendship either has ever had.

Brittany Pierce (+): Sam has kind of had a thing for Brittany for a while now, ever since the two ended up kissing during a round of spin the bottle at a past glee party. But with the rivalry between The Troubletones and The Duly Noted, it makes talking a little bit difficult.

Ryder Lynn (+): Sam is probably Ryder’s best friend at McKinley. They both were the new guys on the football team last year, and with incredibly similar personalities, grew very close. Two jokesters, you can always expect to laugh until you cry when these two are together.

Spencer Porter (+): Sam is probably one of the friendliest guys at McKinley, so it was no surprise that he and Spencer quickly formed a bromance. Sam isn’t sure what kind of performer Spencer is, but he’s pretty sure the younger boy would fit right into the Duly Noted, and hopes to recruit him onto the team when Spencer is old enough.
