It's cute that Mega Starmie leans into Pokemon's roots in Tokusatsu inspiration, making Starmie look like one of the star-shaped Ultraman monster suits that it was likely based on in the first place, but when that change in proportions is all you're doing with the design, it doesn't feel very "Mega."
