Mason-- "Hmm, well...." He gave that wall a push to get ready to open it.
Sarvan-- "Last line of defense.. They really don't want this hunter to get out?"
Jakk -- "Just make sure you slide it back.. you can't push it in. We need.. about my shoulder width of space to get this thing through. Once there's enough space.. I'll pull the cord and push it through, slam that fucker closed and try to hold it closed as best you can." Jakk looked at the device, if the ripcord failed he'd have to go in to set it off with the shocker from his gnomish army knife. He chose not to voice this as he set the explosive on its end. "Ready?"
Sarvan took position on the other side of the door frame, ready to help push/pull the door along the rails as needed. "Ready, Jakk."
Mason-- "See you on the other side, boys." He took a deep breath and readied to slide that bitch open.
Jakk -- "Keep clear of the opening as you do.. we don't know what they have on the other side of there.. rifles, crossbows.. better not take any chances.." He steeled himself, taking several quick breaths. "Open it.."
Sarvan -- Nodding at Maseon he'd move to shove on his edge of the door towards the man. "Pull!"
Mason-- Mason tugged, ignoring the pain coursing through his chest from the effort. Once it was open wide enough he would gear up to slam that bitch closed.
As they slid it open, the entire front of the doorway was obscured with the open end of a crate. It was lined with metal inside, much like the crates upstairs. Inside the crate were a series of devices, that were rectangular in shape, with spindly metal pieces keeping them propped up. All of them had 'FRONT,' written in common along with an arrow pointing. Perhaps to ensure the user pointed them in the right direction. On the front end of each device was a small attachment for a tripwire. Each one had the tripwire attached to the front of the door. There were about ten of these devices. As the door opened, the sounds of ten tripwires getting tugged/tripped would fill the air, along with a metal 'PING' noise coming from each device.
