Sashiko Mending Kits - Repair your favourite clothes sashiko style ♻️ I take the denim scraps from my studio to create pouches to make these tool kits. It moves my studio one step closer towards zero waste and honours the resources required to make them originally. I think they are useful, sustainable, and beautiful pouches for storing your mending tools. A win, win. ♻️ These kits are filled with some of my favorite mending tools - 100% cotton Sashiko threads (great for mending denim), a packet of Clover Sashiko needles, a beautiful leather sashimi thimble made by me from scrap leather offcuts, a fabric pencil, six quilting pins to make sure your patches stay in place while you stitch, eight fabric patches with a selection of recycled fabrics in various weights and colours and instructions to tie it all together. All are carefully sourced with as little plastic packaging as possible. ♻️ I’ve made these kits as a special small batch. I make things myself as I want them to be special but I also want them to be useful. That perfect spot in sustainable design.
