✿—Another night at the motel, laying down inside the RV with Lee's arm around her shoulders. It's been a rough night considering coming all the way out here from the drug store back in Macon. Too much happened; it made her exhausted.

All she can do is hope for a better day tomorrow.

A small yawn escaped the nine-year-old, her chocolate-colored eyes growing heavy as her eyes lidded over. Black... but then...? What?

Reopening her eyes, she found herself waking up to find herself laying upon the shore of a river of some kind surrounded by a forest. Where..? A small jump, scuttling to her feet quickly when she realized this place was unfamiliar. But what made her freeze in fear was several corpses near the said river. What... happened here? Where was she? And where was Lee?

A small gasp to the sound of two voices of men and a younger girl's voice before she looked about quickly. A boulder-- all she could hide behind as she squatted down but of course, as naive as she was, she did take a peek.
