(1) sorry you're drowning in anxiety, that's no fun :( let me tell you a relevant story. see i don't have anxiety but i do always think that the worst thing possible is going to happen. one small mistake and I'm like boom i screwed up, my life will never be the same. this happened once when i was 11 or so. basically there was this guy in my class that i lowkey hated (and also dated for like one day children are weird, and enemies to lovers tropes apparently come early) and i wanted to spite him.

(2) so what did small me do that was so clever? I've always been a bit of a cinnamon roll so i wasn't ready to do something actually evil, although i probs though i was tbh. i got some hand santizer from my chair and some of us were inside so i was like "hehehehhe what if i put this on his chair and he sits on it when he comes back should i do it" and the others are like "ok" like this is the lamest thing ever. so i do it. and then the teacher comes in and fecking sees it before he sits!

(3) so she asks "what's that and why's it there" and lil' innocent me freaks the feck out and bloody yells "IT WAS ME I'M SORRY I DID IT" and my teacher is struggling so hard not to laugh and my proclaimed enemy gets kinda mad at me but can't really take it seriously either. i almost cried pretty sure. so anyway after class i go to the person who /told me to do it/ (which she didn't really) and she explains that and i realise how stupid it was and am like "everyone will hate me forever"

(4) gosh this is long but yeah that event didn't actually ruin my life despite what I though lmao (are u surprised) but yeah I guess i was trying to make you laugh right there, hope it worked!! and hope you feel better soon <3 ilu i'll be here all night if u wanna talk or hear more stupid stories bc I have mannnyyy hahaah but yes this was the end of that ask train :) u made it through congrats

omg, this was wild and you were one (almost [like so so close]) badass 11 year old :D I don’t think I ever did anything like this in school... like I once defied the teacher when she asked me to stop rocking my chair back and I got sent down to year one crying :’) (ngl, I still cry when people shout at me haha)

for fanfic tropes; enemies to lovers or friends to lovers?

Heya, thanks for the ask ^^ I’m definitely gonna go for enemies to lovers because that is probably my fav trope of all time (I grew up with Pride & Prejudice, what can I say?)

There’s just so much delicious UST in well-written enemies-to-lovers fic and the whole “damn I hate them but they’re so irresistible sometimes and I’m so confused” inner angst…I love it.

Friends to lovers is wonderful too, don’t get me wrong, but there the angst usually lies in “we can’t be together because what if it doesn’t work out and then we can’t be friends anymore?” and that is just a bit less interesting for me to read.
