One of my favorite things about Castiel calling Sam's hair beautiful is the fact that usually the only time Sam's hair is referenced, it's in an insulting way by Dean. It demonstrates one of my favorite things about Sastiel, which is the appreciation that they have for each other. They're mutually supportive, and while they can tease each other, it's never in a toxic or demeaning manner(think Sam giving Cas a hard time about his melon metaphor). Their relationship is sweet, and that's so delightful to me.

Can we stop for a second and appreciate the fact that the first thing Castiel does after leaving Dean at the end of Swan Song is go rescue Sam from the cage? I feel like that doesn't get appreciated enough. I know he did it incorrectly, but that was his very first goal after it all ended, and I love that. I love their relationship.
