Frisk Gets There Via A Portal On The Forbidden "Mt. Ebony." Those Of The People Who Venture To The Mountain Disappear And Never Return.

Everyone Is Still There, Too - Alphys, Undyne, Toriel, Papyrus, Sans, Flowey, All Of Them.

The Monsters Are All Trying To Be As Least Sinful As Possible, So That They May Be Spared And Brought Back To The Surface.

Their Only Other Option, Though, Is To Collect 6 Pure Human SOULS To Destroy The Portal - Only Humans And Those With The Purest Of SOULS Can Pass Through.
