i swear I posted these. did i not????? anyways these are two months old but I still like them. since i SOMEHOW never posted these I'll just post this sketchbook batch of stuff from different times but I think all of them are okay enough to post.

Idk I've seen people comment a couple of times that Rose was always a damsel in distress that she had no character development in series 2 and it just confuses me every time I rewatch. Because Rose Tyler? A damsel in distress? What like in Tooth and Claw where she freed the prisoners after learning of the werewolf's plan? Or in Satan's Pit where she took charge against the ood after the Doctor was left stuck in the pit? Or in Fear Her when she had to figure out how to get the isolus home and everyone back after the Doctor got taken and his gadget got destroyed? And then how to save Chloe and her mum from the drawing of her abusive dad? Okay

3 times the Doctor almost confessed to Rose... and the one time he did(n’t )

I’m sure there’s a fanfiction out there with (more or less) this title

When you look at it this way it seems like season 2 was just a build-up of Ten almost confessing to Rose

And then 2 seasons later he doesn’t (even tho Tentoo does)

#Dw #dw lb #series 2 #Satans Pit #42 #i just think its fun when everyones isolated and the only choice is to try communicate over comms cus it inevitably isnt entirely successful #like in that moment of panic and danger where theyre so focused on trying to react and save themselves #but theyve also got other people screaming at them to tell them whats happening cus they need to know so they can also save themselves #but they cant without the others stopping to endanger themselves as they try to communicate the danger #but theyre panicking and rushed so theyre skipping over details and not giving the whole picture theres no time for exposition #its just beautiful the screaming and the panicking the trying to act but held back trying to tell the others #and the helplessness as you listen to the screams on the other end not knowing whats going on and unable to do anything
