“I don’t even know your name yet, but something’s tellin’ me you totally know a thing or two ‘bout D-Wheels!” Call it intuition Rin probably would’ve scolded him over, but Yuugo almost couldn’t help himself. People knew dueling, but it wasn’t everyday he actually got to talk to someone about one of his favorite hobbies.

“You do, don’t’cha? I mean, you’ve gotta be from City, right? ‘Cause if you are, then I know you’ve at least seen ‘em!”

Marinette road towards her assigned tower as she gripped her controls slightly tighter as she neared the location. She knew that losing was not an option, not anymore. The fate of the world rested on her and her friend’s ability to shut down the control towers down in time. Though knowing that there were Dark Signers roaming about trying to stop them made her a bit uneasy. Gently shaking her head she had to clear her thoughts. She had to handle that when the time comes. If she started worrying about it now then she might have already lost. 

She started to get close to the control tower which meant one thing. There had to be a Dark Signer somewhere in the area. She shut her eyes and took a deep breath. She could do this, everyone was counting on her to win.

   It was his first time seeing a D-Wheel. Well. One that wasn’t just a picture in a magazine. He couldn’t help but circle around it ever so curiously. 

   These things weren’t very common in his era, so finding it was almost like spotting some ancient treasure. 

   ‘It must be convenient having something like this in your possession.’ Tsuki thought to himself, completely forgetting the reason as to why he was wandering about in town in the first place.  ‘-Riding and dueling huh... Is it possible to do tag team duels on this thing? ...Probably. Drawing a card from the Eclipse Deck would seem a bit difficult though...’

    Crouching in front of the D-Wheel, the male reached out his hand.

“I might need to have it bandaged up and disinfected but I don’t think there’s enough blood to warrant a hospital visit.” Even so, the other male was going out of his way to offer assistance so he softened slightly, shaking his head.  “But I appreciate you offering to help.”

“If you do want to help then I don’t suppose you could lead me towards a first aid kit or at least somewhere that I could acquire one?”

Juudai watched the stranger slowly come up with a response. For a moment he was concerned that it wasn’t just a sprained ankle but that the other had a concussion as well, but that worry was put to rest once he got an actual response.

“Me? I’m okay, just a scratch, but you should really slow down or the next person that crosses your path won’t be so lucky.”

Truth of the matter was, Juudai was simply lucky to have his spirit partner, Yubel, to make sure he didn’t get completely fucked up in the crash, but that wasn’t exactly something he could explain to a total stranger.

“Why don’t you let me bandage that up for you?” he offered, extending a hand out to the rider.

HC + duel spirits

Send me  “HC”  + a word and I’ll write a headcanon about it.

Jun used to think he was crazy for being able to see spirits for the longest time as a kid. He doesn't want other children to go through the same, especially since they might not have someone like Judai as a friend like he did.

As a pro, he interacts with his fans a lot, a lot of which are relatively young. Whenever he notices that one can see spirits as well, he'll say a few words to them to assure that what they're seeing is real, and that they're not alone with this ability.

If asked though he'd completely deny that he cares and insist that "it's all just for show." None of his friends actually buy this. They all know he's a huge softie.
