Containment breach! I looked down this evening to see Sati on the floor outside the whelping pen nursing. He wanted a bedtime snack and nothing was going to get in his way. Time to add the first board to raise the height of the entrance!
Shiva-Shakti are so breath taking beautiful 🤍
I know it’s a small, brief moment, but I very much like Neo and Sati’s interactions and this one, in the Oracle’s apartment, is no different. I enjoy how quickly Sati grew to like him, because she got to see for herself what a nice and kind person he is, and the resulting excited way she exclaimed “Neo!” upon seeing him enter the kitchen. But even more than that, I love his little smile back at her (pictured) as he gives his reply of “Me too.” to Sati telling him she’s glad he made it out of Mobil Ave. 💖
Neo might have been very preoccupied at that point with trying to work out what he should do next to end the war, but I can tell he gained an attachment to little Sati - because of his earlier interaction with her and her parents having been what made him properly realise that the Machines aren’t so different to humanity after all - and I’m all for it. ☺️
Class art project where I had to redraw an album cover. It was hard to choose just one, but eventually, I settled on Korn’s self titled…and then got the idea to make it into a Matrix parody. I’m pretty sure with the amount of sharpie i used in this, i accidentally gave myself permanent health problems, but I don feel too odd yet
Currently, its being displayed in the classroom, which rox :)
Ok because all I've got is a line can I suggest a sumdac who is just "sari but in ISAT(In stars and Time)" (I didn't have enough in mind for a full suggestion sorry gamer)
When this question first came in, I was ready to hold off on it until this person finally elaborated. Then the idea of a Sumdac getting stuck in a time loop proved too... intriguing, so I ended up having to do a LOT of creative workarounds. (I mean, the game canonically lacks color)
the lesson that was to be taken from the tale of sati went over the heads of a whole generation.
when you strip it down to its barebones the outline you are left with is one where an egoistic man drove his daughter to death because he couldn't accept her choice of a spouse. he couldn't accept that she was no longer under his control and had taken her own decisions. such was his verbal and emotional abuse that she preferred to die than remain in a body that was related to him.
as a foil to daksha, you have himavan who not only trusted his daughter's choice of partner but supported her decision to perform rigorous penance to achieve her goals. with an encouraging father like that, parvati could scale heights that no one else could. unlike sati, she was able to achieve her full potential.
this whole saga was supposed to be a lesson for men. for fathers of daughters in particular. you were meant to raise your girls to be brave, to push against their limits and to follow their hearts and think with the minds that you ought to have nourished. instead you instilled fear in them and never let their spirit grow for it would have threatened your control over them.
idiots. we are surrounded by idiots.
Step into the world of laid-back music
Probably you will like these two posts in my blog 'Music, listen, kook and enjoy'
If you go for a drink or sit down to read a book in a hotel lounge in the evening, there’s a good chance you’ll hear ‘trip hop’ or ‘ambient’
Calm music, but very much of our time… That’s how you could describe trip hop and ambient. Due to its slow tempo and relaxed nature ambient
