Studying was never easy.
It's really hard to concentrate and study (well) when your own fucking government is FIGHTING AGAINST PUBLIC FREE SUPERIOR EDUCATION. I'm so afraid right now for my future and tired of having to fight those literal White old dicks to get to graduate and serve my society and community. Why are they so against (poor, marginalized) people? What are they afraid of?
I'm fighting with my mutuals. I'm fighting for education. For free education. For myself and for the people around me.
Classes have begun. I'm back!
I'm stressed and hyped already.
Need to focus again on time management and self care during school period.
I freaking LOVE my course, Jesus, everyone's so smart and cool and there's so much to learn and do on this field.
Fun fact: I study at night.

I actually thought I'd do less today. I woke up late, with lots of pain, couldn't sleep well. But hey, I got to read a text I had to and I went to uni early so I printed tons of texts (pic) I'll be using during the whole four years of my course (I hope) and I drank good coffee with a good friend, saw some faces and we just chilled a bit before class. And I gotta say, I'm enjoying the academic writing more than I thought I would, it still hurts my brain, but, man, I love writing maybe as much as I love reading...

I've vanished, I know. My mom crashed here for the weekend (so family drama) plus I've been writing a lot, and helping friends write their assignments too. And we found out that Kahoot's a good game to play when we want to quiz each other on study groups, for exams, etc. It's fun and we can make up prizes for the winners and we don't even need to download it (yes, I'm hyped(?)).
Also, have been thinking about my future. The second semester, more precisely. I need to keep up with English and French, I'm doing good at uni, I also want to do some kind of sport and maybe get a part time job to help my family, but hey, that's too much for 6 months! And most of them don't depend on me to do or not (they'd call me if they have a slot(?) for me). Idk I'm happy.
Good night and good week!
Amanda.
Two people just complimented my messy classroom notes :') so i' m doing a good job with my studying after all

I don't quite know what's going on with me but i like it.
It started on tuesday. Tuesday was a horrible Day. I woke up to the news that not only a guy stole a bus in Rio, to get shot in the end with no mercy. Then the Amazon was burning once more. And to end my day, we had a talk in class about how our govern wants to find more ways to be terrible, this time, by killing Human Sciences in the country and selling the rest of the Sciences to private bussineses. I was sad on Tuesday.
But it was a good thing, on the other hand, because on Wednesday i woke up to kick my Fears' asses. I straight up walked alone, talked freely to people i barely know, i got myself into my course's student counsil (we still need to get elected but the dream's still there), i'm paying so much attention in class that i started to actually understant many concepts without reading as much.
I was scared in the beginning of this semester. I even started an internship. I thought it would be too much. Turns out i just needed to focus on taking care of myself and believing that i could do it throught the semester. I discovered i've grew up a lot more this year than ever, even with all the terrible news and times.
Thanks for coming to my TedTalk.
Amanda
Ps: my birthday is coming and i am very much hyped.
Highlights of last week [3-7/6/19]:
¦ (Finally) went to a speech
¦ started reading Animal Farm
¦ wrote around 3 different assignments for last week and this week [10-14]
¦ Watched Aladdin with my father! The movie is amazing and it was my first time going to the movies in this city. The soundtrack's still in my mind.
¦ practiced a little bit of calligraphy on my free time. Also practiced speaking English with my brother and decorated my diary+bujo.
It's the last month of the semester and little by little I'm having less work to do. So I'll be planning my [1 month] winter vacation, because my family and friend are coming to visit and I wanna explore the city!
