          new orleans was not his favorite place.  for one,  the heavy weather of the south clung to his skin like a hot,  sticky lotion.  and  --  that was pretty much his dislike with it.  all in all,  it was a beautiful city where the kids were happy being local tourists instead of getting around them in new york.  

          he sees a girl leaning up against a mechanic shop that looks nice enough,  so he goes to her to ask a question.  “  am i headed the right way for.  “  a pause.  “  mister apple candy store.  “
