Baby Yoda vs Sauran
Saurans are known for being skilled smiths and engineers, wielding great war axes and riding land dragons. (PD Breeding, The Talislantan Handbook, Bard Games, 1987) I never thought the “No Elves!” slogan represented Talislanta very well. With over 4 dozen playable non-human races in this book and some deep world-building, the setting deserved to be known more for what it did include instead of being defined by what it omitted.
