So, somehow or another I was thinking about Gimli and Frodo being besties in your S&D verse ("My dad was in the company, your dads were in the company, shit let's be friends.") and I was thinking about how that might change the dynamic of the fellowship if that were the case. I just imagine instead of Frodo having his hobbit entourage, he just has Gimli who will axe the shit out of anyone who looks at Prince Frodo funny.
THIS IS ACTUALLY THE CUTEST IDEA EVER AND wow actually makes sense for the S&D verse since Frodo definitely would have grown up around Gimli. So now im imagining Gimli taking on this kinda big brother roll and god he would be SO. PISSED. when frodo and sam went off on their own to continue the quest. he is about ready to chase after them because FRODO I SWORE MY AXE TO YOU YOURE PRACTICALLY KIN WHAT THE FUCK FOR ONE THING DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH YOUR DA WOULD MURDER ME??????
