Johnny's scenes were filmed sometime between August/September 2020, at the Les Studios Saint Germain, in Paris, France. The video, directed by Clément Beauvais, is available on Youtube.
TRANSCRIPT:
“I can remember when I was a kid, when I was playing guitar in clubs, so you… It was part of the gig. ‘Bang, bang, bang’. You spray yourself with something you had no idea what it was. And there are certain scents if I smell them now, I close my eyes, I'm in the dressing room. You know, before we play our sixth set, and I'm 17 years old and still there. We are... essentially, receivers with regard to… to everything we experience in life. A certain scent takes you directly back to a person or a place or a thing or, you know, if you were standing in a jasmine field as a child… You're right back there.You travel by the emotion that you get from the scent. So it's the same thing with the music, because if you put on a Marvin Gaye song from the 70s - Boom! - You are transported. If you hear a Gainsbourg song from the 60s, you are transported. Everything will change, your whole body chemistry changes when you start to go back to that place. It's a kind of a beautiful and very abstract way of… You're traveling emotionally.”

This and all the other photos previously released, were taken last September 2020, in France. Johnny and Jean-Baptiste already previously worked together for all Sauvage’s photos and for the 2018 So Soir Magazine.

The new photo was taken by Arthur de Kersauson, sometime between August/September 2020, during the filming of “The Melody of Scents” for Dior’s “Conversations with Craftsmen” project, at the Les Studios Saint Germain, in Paris, France.
Two similar photo were released last September 1 and October 1.

As said last Monday, today (August 11) marks the launch of Dior’s Sauvage latest perfume: the Sauvage Elixir. And Dior released the new official photos of the campaign, on the US site and the perfume is expected to be available on stores on August 20.
