Bushido Savage Wave Oni, which I’ll be using as Badlands Ogre Bulls for the army of High Nippon.
Bushido! In my quest to find new fun and inexpensive Wargames I have developed a love for small scale skirmish games. Bushido by GCT Studios fits that bill perfectly. First of all the rules are a free download, and the starter sets give you a perfect solid core to expand you forces with. In my dive into the game I picked up a starter set, extra blister pack, a set of cards and a faction dice set for around $80 Australian. This will give me a reasonable sized force and an option or two. The extra cards allow you to buy in game effects or items and are perfect for using the occasional odd amount of rice (points) you may have left over. As you can see in the pictures above, models also come with cards that give you all the information you need to play with them, in the same way that Warmahordes does. I am really impressed with the quality of the sculpts and the casting, there was very little clean up required. Some things are quite fiddly and there are some gaps, but nothing that some liquid green stuff won't cure. I am looking forward to getting some paint on these guys and getting a game or a few dozen in -Askanidog
