WHO: Ludovic Bagman and Savannah Wilkinson WHEN: January 5th, 1978. 2PM. WHERE: Right inside of the Slytherin Common Room
Ludovic wondered if anybody else in the castle could get into all four common rooms as easily as he could. Due to his friendship with Marlene, he nearly always knew the password to Gryffindor’s. As a Ravenclaw, he was clever enough to always be able to get inside of his own. His extensive connections to Slytherin House meant he also knew every password. And he had long figured out the tapping pattern to gain access to Hufflepuff basement, though he wasn’t seen there often.
Currently, he was standing inside of the Slytherin dungeons. After six and a half years of visiting, nearly all of the Slytherins barely spared him a second glance, since he was such a regular visitor. On a normal day, Ludo would probably be flitting around the room, trying to pander cigarettes towards the younger years, or trying to ask around to see if anybody was interested in wagering a bet on the next Quidditch game. However, today was no normal day. He had nearly died yesterday, and he likely would have, if it hadn’t been for one Savannah Wilkinson. She’d saved his life, and while he was the type to avoid paying his debts, this was one that he couldn’t ignore. So, when he’d been released from the Hospital Wing earlier that morning, he decided that today, he would thank her. He showered first, wanting to wipe any sweat, blood, and grime that might have still been clinging to his body. Then, after he’d had both smoked a bowl and had lunch, he made his way downstairs. First stop was the Hufflepuff Common Room, where he quietly poached a few of their nicer looking flowers. He cast a quick charm to bundle them up with a ribbon, and then headed to the dungeons to wait. So, there he was. It was taking longer than he expected for Savannah to show up, so he busied himself by checking on the state of his hair, using a suit of armor as a mirror. A few minutes later, he heard the stone panel open up, and he turned to see who it was. To his happiness, it was the very witch he had been waiting for.
“Savannah!” He said loudly, holding up his bouquet. “Come over here for a second, will you?”
