Working on being proud of myself. It’s very easy to get caught up in the notion of where you “should be” and comparing yourself to that childhood image of the timeline you thought your adult life would have. American society in the 90’s and 00’s gave us kids a clear cut picture of success complete with a family, white picket fence, and a 401k. I have been working on managing my expectations of myself and what it means to be successful for me personally. I put in some really good work these last few weeks and got some beautiful rewards. Both artistically and photography wise it’s really fulfilling to be able to say to myself “You did a good job.” Thank you so much @savannahcirque and @plantriversidedistrict for the opportunity to push myself further, and gain a little success.
