Out The Window
Out the window I’m staring as the wind blows
and I write a little prose with my nimble fingers.
My summit peaks with the way “things” goes
as we smoke and the limo lingers.
She was lucid, driver, and I think so
because my universe burns like timber
whenever she gets close, I simmer.
I feel exposed via posies and roses.
The story is said to unfold this winter.
