The colors and textures in this home made of steel, stone and wood are breathtaking! You literally have to search high and low for drywall. It takes extreme respect for the space, the design and the overall aesthetics of a home like this to weave any technology into it. Of course working very closely with the clients and amazing partners @pearsondesigngroup and @osmconstruction made the process much smoother. When SAV Digital Environments went to work on a Lakelodge at Moonlight Basin in Big Sky, it was an opportunity to showcase what we do best: create an atmosphere of ease and enjoyment for all the senses. We integrate state-of-the-art home technology that enhances the experience of a space without detracting from its design, and that is exactly what we did here.  “This project was about blending technology, design, and art in a space that prioritizes comfort and usability—without changing the architecture or infrastructure,” says Stephanie Gilboy, technology advisor at SAV and whom led the Lakelodge interior design effort. “SAV is driven by design, and we have an affinity for art. For this project, we worked with local design firm Open Studio Collective which helped select and procure housewares, bedding, and wall treatments; placed artwork through Courtney Collins Fine Art and Echo Arts; and of course, partnered with Studio Como for furnishings. So excited to be able to gather again! This weekend we had our annual holiday party at our showroom and it went off without a hitch. We are so honored and humbled to be a winner in this year’s Home of the Year by CE Pro, taking home silver in the “Best Home Theater” category. Each year, CE Pro selects the most captivating projects submitted by its readers in the custom electronics integration industry. Overlooking the beautiful vast landscapes of South-Central Montana, tucked away in the Rocky Mountains between Bozeman and Big Sky, lies a sweeping hilly paradise. Working closely with the clients, @koelzerkathy from @montanaexpressions, and Phillip Journey from @journeyandsons, we were able to help create a home theater and lounge space for the couple, reflecting their present-day style while keeping the traditional "ranch feel" design elements and build intact.
