There was a campaign for a a person called Ben im sure who was trying to escape from his family and country who were transphobic in general. He DID originally have a campaign but their parents closed it. However, a new one has been made which can be found here. Please help him escape this country.

This part always bring tears to my eyes for several reasons:

1. Luke realizes that when he felt Ben with Rey. He could only feel his presence but not the Force as a threat.

2. Luke senses that “stronger than the anger were Kylo’s pain and fear”. There is still hope for Ben Solo.

3. The most important part Luke senses... Ben is still a BROKEN BOY.

After all these years, and Ben’s efforts on become Kylo Ren and kill the past... he’s still Ben Solo.

Chapter 7: The Connection

Excerpt:

The moment Rey reached her hut she had felt him near her, in the Force. Instead of feeling anger and fear at his prescence, Rey had felt a surge of relief and anticipation.

The connection between them was so raw, so powerful, she realized, that it had reminded her of touching a live wire in the wreckage of a starship. She had closed her eyes, opened them, and found Kylo Ren there, solid, as if she could actually reach out and touch his hand, his face, his hair.

Rey acknowledged his prescence with the absence of her usual callousness and prepared a fire, wrapping herself with a dry blanket from her cot and sat across from him on a stone bench, allowing the heat from the fire to warm her cold, damp body.

Rey recounted her experience in the cave, sparing no detail, and Kylo listened intently, nodding when needed to and acknowledging her when it was necessary, but otherwise remained silent.

"I thought I would find answers there," Rey admitted, tears falling freely as she stared at the ground. "I never felt so alone."

"You're not alone," Kylo replied, his voice cracking, his eyes holding back tears.

"Neither are you," Rey assured him. "It's not too late."

Reylo Army

What is the Reylo Army?

Hey, Reylo shippers! I’m @recklessdarkness and I’m proud to introduce to you the Reylo Army! It all started with me and some Brazilian friends coming up with the idea of all Reylos wearing the same customized t-shirt on Episode IX’s premiere in 2019, a t-shirt with a Reylo logo on it. We spread the word in Brazil and Reylos were very excited about it, so we decided to make Reylo Army worldwide!

What will be the logo on the Reylo Army t-shirt?

Surprise! The logo on the Reylo Army t-shirt may be made by YOU! We’re opening a contest so that all Reylos can have a chance of seeing their work on our customized t-shirt. The contest will be running from today to May 18th.

How to participate?

The first thing you have to do is create a logo for the Reylo Army, a special fanart that will represent Reylo for everyone to see. More specifications will be listed on this post. Once you have finished your logo, just upload it somewhere and fill out the form in the link below with the link for it. That’s it! You’re already on the contest!

What are the specifications for the logo?

1. PNG format with TRANSPARENT background

2. The t-shirt will be BLACK, so make sure your logo will be visible printed on a black t-shirt

3. Create something that represents Reylo and that everyone who sees it will recognize Reylo there. It can be symbolic, as far as it’s clear for everyone that it’s a Reylo logo

4. There’s no need of many details on the logo’s illustration, it’s actually easier to print when it’s simple

5. Include the #REYLOARMY image BELOW or UPON your logo, big enough for everyone to be able to read it. You can download a PNG (with transparent background) of the image on this link:

How will the logo be chosen?

The current organization of the Reylo Army will chose the winner. It will be announced on May 20th on this tumblr, RecklessDarkness, and I will contact the winner on the same day.

If the focus of The Rise of Swywalker was going to be the trio’s adventure, the cover of “The Art of Star Wars” would be the trio... but no, anyone sees a pattern in here?

And still antis say this trilogy isn’t about Reylo. Maybe to understand where we’re heading you need to make yourself the following questions:

- Why the villain is Han and Leia’s son?

- Why , when he kills Han Solo, that act doesn’t finalize with his training in the dark side and instead tears him apart?

- Why releasing all this books explaining how strong was Ben as a baby and a toddler with the light?

- Why he didn’t shoot at Leia when he could? Why he wanted to save her?

- Why bringing back Palpatine if we already have a “villain”in the Saga?

- Why explaining to us that he only turned to the dark side when he thought Luke wa trying to kill him and he felt abandoned by his family?

- Why to create that connection between Rey and Kylo from The Force Awakens? Which is the purpose of the Force Bonds?

- Why including a shirtless scene when it only reinforces attraction between two characters? Why implying in the script that she has opened to the dark side for a pair of pretty eyes?

- Why including Kylo’s theme when The Rise of Skywalker pops up In the trailer? Why do the end his theme in major key?

- Why having him saying to his Vader’s mask “I will end what you started” which was killing Palpatine that we know now isn’t dead and is a new threat?

Because of this image from SWCC there are a lot of comparisons between Darcy and Kylo aesthetic, but besides this, is there any other parallel worth to mention? In my opinion the answer is YES.

Darcy is probably one of the most romantic characters ever and I see a lot of similarities with Kylo Ren:

They are both coming from an important family, they are seen as nobles or princes.

Both of them are arrogant

Both of them though, are softer when they have to speak with Lizzie/Rey (Kylo says PLEASE to Rey!)

And they share style!

Now let’s go with the analysis:

Of course in the case of Star Wars we're talking about a space opera and Pride and Prejudice is set in the XIX century. However, We can see a similar structure on how Kylo/Rey and relationship Darcy/Elizabeth have been built till now. Be aware I’m talking only about the “arc” of the relationship and not about the nature of the relationship itself:

* FIRST ACT:When They first met, they have the same arrogant attitude. Darcy doesn't want to dance with Elizabeth (she's not enough handsome for him) in the case of Kylo (I can take whatever I want)... we can agree this isn't the best introduction.

* SECOND ACT: when they propose, Darcy proposes marriage to Lizzie and Kylo proposes to rule the galaxy to Rey, but what it is even more important is HOW they propose, both of them object about their origins/families ( "you are nothing" says Kylo, "the inferiority of your birth" says Darcy). And un both cases they are rejected.

* THIRD ACT: yet to see, but in Pride and Prejudice we have Darcy, redeeming himself to be worthy of Lizzie's love, and I hope that will happen with Kylo and Rey

So I hope Kylo can become more Darcy in The Rise of Skywalker

BONUS EYES: In Pride and Prejudice Darcy says "“I have been meditating on the very great pleasure which a pair of fine eyes in the face of a pretty women can bestow." In The Last Jedi, Luke says to Rey “you opened yourself to the darkside for a pair of pretty eyes."
