You know what I wanna know? Where was Elliot supposed to be during this??? Bc if I’m not mistaken, this was broadcast at least across New York and possibly the country? (Idk how American broadcasting works) so was he in Rome already at this time? Was he still in New York and just somehow didn’t see one of the biggest news stories of the time? The WL case would’ve been huge and pretty much impossible to miss unless he went completely underground and off the grid. I know continuity isn’t a massive strong point for SVU but this seems like something they maybe could’ve mentioned as a fly-away comment about where he was? Just to cover why he didn’t come for her during the whole WL arc.
