Dear Tumblr followers:  I have a favor to ask you.

A friend of mine in the Seattle Burlesque community has recently fallen on some of the worst times it’s possible to fall on.  (Quick breakdown:  breast cancer survivor with a double mastectomy, had to move out of her previous apartment with a month’s notice, got hit with identity theft right as she moved, draining her accounts, had her car broke down, and now has lost the full use of her arms and hands due to recovery-related side effects.  Yeah, that’s the QUICK version.)

We’ve set up a GoFundMe to help her out.  We’re trying to raise $1000 by tomorrow so she can keep her current apartment for at least the month of May.  If you can donate, anything helps!  If you can’t donate, please reblog!  Candy Apples is one of us--a nerd, a mother, a performer, and someone who needs some help right now.  Can you please help me spread the word to #SaveCandy?
