The Saab Museum, in the city of Trollhatten, was going to be auctioning off all of its 120 pieces of Swedish history. Thankfully, they will be preserved in place at the museum. The city of Trollhatten, The Wallenberg Foundation, and SAAB AB have joined forces to purchase all 120 vehicles while only costing them an estimated $4.1 million. The city will maintain the museum and continue to carry on the Saab memory.
