Sometimes I think about if the world was fair and just, right now would be around the time when Willow season 3 would be wrapping up and we'd get the end to the story.

But if I think about it too hard I wanna cry.

Willow is a fucking masterclass in how to pace a show in an age of television where studios don’t give creatives the time they need to tell a cohesive story.

The fact that all of the main characters are well fleshed out while simultaneously having individual character arcs that change based on their relationships with each other is really impressive.

they’ve only got 8 episodes to show the entire story progressing WHILE spending time on each of the characters, but Willow is still well paced.

and character development doesn’t come out of nowhere, because the dialogue moves the story forward in a very good “show don’t tell” way.
