A simply gorgeous art commission from @rottenapplefae for the fic The Coronation

Kit has a crown now, slim silver branches with delicate buds and sprouting leaves, new growth and new beginnings, like the predecessor to the leafy circlet Sorsha wears. Jade has always loved the symbolism of the Great Tree– solid, dependable, deep rooted. It had never seemed quite right for Kit, but something about the fork of the delicate silver twigs creating a soft asymmetry, the hint of a silver flower just bloomed in the cleft of a branch, the bravery and vulnerability of spring time trying so hard looks right on her now. Jade wants to honor that rightness.

Claymore’s hands are for scoring now, not fighting. Too skilled, her hands too valuable to be split wide like Kit’s so often had, broken and bleeding and raw against someone else’s jaw. Soft hands, coaches had drilled into her through the years, and Kit’s walls flutter and clench as she thinks of Claymore’s fingers, long and sure, filling her cunt in place of her own.

OR Kit wants to be the best. She's not, though, and Jade helps her deal with that.
