For years I existed in open field

Millions of species for me to shield

Clean air and green I gifted

Polluted fog and crashed hope I've lifted

And now suddenly there's only pain

Empty spaces for humans to gain

Fires kill what they miss

Have I kept them alive for this?

I gave them oxygen to breathe

Asking for nothing in return

I attained the beauty they seek

And now I have to burn

Those humans are evil to the core

I gave them enough, but they wanted more

Try to do what I have done

Living in harmony with the sun

Creating paradise where there is none

And enjoying quietly while the rest has fun

Now I am lonesome

You have taken away what made me shine

You pushed us all further away in time

Towards a future deprived from prosperity

Where nature has lost its ability

And the planet is destroyed by men

I believe that most of the people are not dense enough to believe that the fire in the Amazon forest is a natural disaster, but just in case, you should know that it isn't. IT'S BEEN SET ON FIRE!

The president was SELLING OUT the forest to big companies.

According to the newspapers and Brazilians, like @carlpalmer, DEFORESTATION of the area has GROWN 66% this July only, in comparison to the LAST BLOODY YEAR.

This is not ONLY a #prayforamazon situation, it's the time to pray for other humans, the ones in high positions, to realize that they are destroying the world we live in, only because of BLOODY PROFIT.

It is time to spread awareness about what is really going on with the world, because there are people who are unaware of this, because instead of #savetheamazon, the hastag trending is # savespiderman!!??!! Are people dense enough to wish to save a FICTIONAL character, instead of THE FUCKING WORLD THEY LIVE IN?! I love Spider-Man as much as the next person, but this is our lives, the lives of our loved ones at stake.

When Notre Dame was burning, all of the media covered it. Where is the media now?! The fire is spreading in rapidly, and the trees that are burning out produce 20% of our OXYGEN!!!! This forest needs to be saved, if not for us, then for our future families.

So, please, spread the awareness about this, because the Amazonian forest needs to be saved, so all of us could breathe PROPER air!
