On the last day of Jessie's meet and greet at @waltdisneyworld, I'm not feeling much like celebrating. 😭 So while everyone else is posting about #WaltDisneyWorld's birthday today, I'll just share my first and last ever Frontierland hug from my best cowgirl. This character means more to me than I'll ever be able to put into words, and not being able to visit her anymore at the #MagicKingdom is just devastating to me. 💔 Thank you, @pixar, for creating a character that I could love so deeply that I'd want to put up a fight to try and save her. And boo on you, #WDW, for taking her away from me, and from all the others who begged you to let her stay. NOT magical at all. 😞

So if Jessie's in a dress, with her "prince charming," can she have a @waltdisneyworld meet-and-greet too? 😕 Just read the news that a princess meet-and-greet is being added to #DisneySprings, on the very day that Jessie's is getting cut from the parks. What a slap in the face to all of us who have pleaded for her to stay, for all the girls (and boys) who don't relate to princesses! 😩 Even worse, @disneyparksblog keeps moderating and censoring anyone who comments in favor of #Jessie. So a few days ago, I sent in a very, very long email to Disney asking that Jessie not be removed from the Meet and Greet.

Just received a reply and it’s the exact same one Heidi got, word for flippin’ word.

I’m not surprised. Just irritated. Also hungry but that’s besides the point.

It’s like I pointed out at the end of my letter. They’re just going to have to bring her back when “Toy Story 4″ comes out so what’s the point?

I'm still not coping well at all with the thought that Jessie's meet-and-greet could be cut at the Magic Kingdom as of October 1. This character means so much to me, for so many reasons - she's strong, and determined, and she doesn't let the sadness in her past dull her lively spirit, just to name a few. These are precisely the reasons girls need Jessie in the parks - not everyone relates to perfect princesses, or even Minnie or Tinkerbell - they need Jessie's cowgirl spunk as a counterpoint to the predominantly "girly" representation of female characters in the other meet-and-greets resort-wide.

Please, @waltdisneyworld, don't put Jessie into storage!!! If this is not just an internet rumor, and Jessie's meet-and-greet is in fact slated for cancellation, please reconsider your decision! She needs to remain accessible to fans, whether she stays at the Magic Kindgom or gets moved to Hollywood Studios with Buzz and Woody. Too often, Toy Story is reduced to only Buzz and Woody - but even the Green Army Men are out to greet guests! Jessie deserves to be included - and she deserves a daily meet-and-greet presence worthy of the beloved @disneypixar heroine she is. ❤️💛

You never know who may fall in love with this precious girl. She is sweet, loves to give kisses and doesn't stop wagging her tail. She also gets along well with other dogs. As you can see from the video, she is in a kennel with two furry friends. She only weighs 35 lbs which means her ADOPTION FEES ARE WAIVED.
