The indigenous people of Iraq - the Assyrians, have been given options by the al-Qaeda-inspired Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). They are either convert to Islam, pay tax, leave or be killed.
The citizens of Iraq are being forced to leave their homeland with nothing but the clothes on their back. ISIS tags their houses with the letter 'n' - which stands for Nassarah and refers to Christians.
Today, more than seven thousand people protested in Sydney City, Australia to raise awareness for these lost souls. Although they only received little media coverage, they are still fighting for awareness, justice and peace for the citizens in the Middle East.
