Rich Valley Arena needs YOUR SUPPORT. We are asking everyone, near and far to SUPPORT our community by submitting unlimited votes on Friday March 29 starting at 10:00am and ending Saturday March 30 at 6:30pm (MST). The arena was built by the community in 1976, and construction of the ice chiller began in 1981. By 1983 the local community was using the rink for hockey, speed skating, figure skating, public skating and events. The ice chiller was maintained by local volunteers and has never been upgraded. Its literally the heart if any ice arena. Yesterday, I was lucky enough to be shown around the facility and photographed the arena, its plant room, the ice chiller and its evaporator. I was alotted time to sit in the stands pondering the many successes and failures this arena has seen throughout its 40 years and wondered what it will be like over the next 4-decades for this community? We greatly appreciate your support, votes and passing along this information.
