A Global Action: Green Revolution, Nature Reconnection
Do you care about our Mother Nature? Are you even aware of what is happening to our world? Would you want to save it in any ways? If your answer is “YES”, then be a helping hand to us in saving our beautiful world. Our world is changing, our world is dying, so help us with our program entitled,”Green Revolution, Nature Reconnection”, with only one goal, to save our world.
The most serious problem that our world is currently facing is the increasing threat of Global Warming and Climate Change. So what is Global Warming and Climate Change? Global warming is an increase in the earth’s atmosphere and oceanic temperature caused by human activities such as burning of fossil fuels etc. Climate change in other hand is the change of weather pattern that lasts for an extended period of time due to the increasing quantity of greenhouse gases that are produced.
With these occurring problems, we can say that our world is at risk, and we are the prime suspects on why these problems occurred. We’re the prime suspects because of the Human Activities such as burning of fossil fuel that produces greenhouse gases into our atmosphere. These two threats changed our world. It has produced an effect on our daily living, Many abnormalities occurred, many things that are unnatural happened affecting our daily living. We people can hardly adjust to these two nearly impossible to defeat forces but living in this world, we believe that nothing is impossible.
We believe that in order to reduce the effect of these problems we should apply a global action known as Mitigation and Adaptation. So how will mitigation help reduce climate change? Mitigation is the effort to reduce loss of life and property by lessening the impact of disasters. So to connect it to climate change, mitigation is the reduction of greenhouse gases to lessen the impact of climate change. So we must limit the human activities such as burning of fossil fuels, usage of air conditioning units and many more. Meanwhile, adaptation is the process of changing the way we live as a society in response to a threat to cope with. These two process may not be easy, but it only takes a little sacrifice for a brighter future. A little sacrifice for a better life and a better world. Stand with us and fulfill your task as an eco-steward in protecting, preserving and conserving this world. Every single person on this world has the power to change the world. ~ Emma Thompson

Okay guys, we want to show you a really great search engine you can use to help our world. It’s quite easy actually. Ecosia works like any other search engine (e.g. Google) but it helps our environment by planting trees. Around every 40-50 searches Ecosia plant one tree. Means: The more you use Ecosia, the more trees you plant! Ecosia gets their income through ads that pop up when you search for something and 80% of this income is donated to planting trees. So if you are planning to use Ecosia, don’t forget to turn off your adblock!
