Clan update! Maabs and her babies have been visiting daily now (several times a night 😅) The kits continue to do well, grow, and put on weight. They are super afraid of humans (which is a good thing 👆🏻👍🏻✌🏻), despite Maabs continuously trying to encourage them to meet me, and show them that I am safe. 2 nights ago, she even ate tiny pieces of boiled egg from my hand, (which she hasn’t done since she was a kit!)...but her babies were still not convinced I was safe 😅 Because of their wariness of humans, I have to film them from behind our glass door. Tbh, I hope the kits continue to be cautious of people. It’s just safer that way. Maabs gives me sniffs of approval to film the babies learning the tastes of different foods. I put some sweeter treats out this time to help encourage them to try more foods and start fattening up quick. Mabon’s babies- first glimpses!
