//Oh gosh, well...this kind of thing makes me leery since I'm always afraid of leaving someone out (I tend to be forgetful, and it's nothing personal), so I'll preface this by saying that if I follow you, I 1,000% think you're worth following! <3 I'm also going to do this in alphabetical order, cuz I don't want to rank anyone either!

1) @brooklynislandgirl ~ Super sweet and friendly, with a very fleshed out, well-written OC. Turtle's pro se always makes me want to try 10,000x harder so that I can match her quality! If I ever wanted to roll in someone's writing like a pile of leaves, hers would be it. <3 I get a lot of joy every time I read her replies.

2) @dreaminganthea ~ A new friend, but no less valuable! I enjoy her OC, as well as the period drama m.emes/posts she reblogs. And it's also fun to chat OOC with her about Ben/Seth, cuz obviously, I need more outlets to be annoying about them lol.

3) @faithhearted & @retrograderesemblance ~ These two are getting tagged as a package deal, cuz they're my ride-or-dies (apologies in advance, and/or my c.ondolences lol). Anyone who's been following me since the beginning shouldn't be surprised to see their names, cuz...well...just look at how often they pop up on my blog lol. I'm always in awe of their diabolical plot ideas, and how much they bring to the table. They research SO much for their OCs, and it honestly puts me to shame. Can't give enough praise in the world! <3

4) @morgansmornings ~ Very kind and fun to talk to, and with a great OC who she's super passionate about. I love all the lore, and seeing how she interacts with Ben. Our thread is definitely more lighthearted than most of mine, and I love that little breather; though I also see the potential for more, which is always the best kind of writing experience. :)

5) @resolutevalor ~ Aly is my oldest mutual! <3 I only created Ben cuz of her Anna, so if you're sick of seeing me here, blame her LoL. I've really been enjoying our Ben/Y.elena interactions lately, and she has a great grasp and passion for all her characters in general. Always great to see her on my dash!

6) @savingthrcw ~ I honestly wasn't sure which of her blogs to tag, cuz they're all great! I first started writing with Ele on her Emma S.wan page, and the chaos began from there lol. She has an insanely intuitive grasp of every character we've ever discussed. Even though I've obviously been (obsessively) studying Ben since 2020, after I convinced Ele to watch TURN, I was always so impressed by her analyses -- and yes, she pointed out some things I'd never truly considered! With that said, she brings that same level of attention to detail with her own muses, and she always has a lot of passion and eagerness to interact with the RPC.

Bonus (cuz I said so!): @marisetcaelum ~ We've been mutuals for a couple years, iirc, but never really got to interact much until now. I'm really enjoying getting to know both them and their OC, Bird, and I have a feeling Bird's going to be too much for Ben to handle lol. Mun's yet another person I've suckered into watching TURN, and I'm not sorry at all. >:)

it had been years since he was this far away from town. his skills were sharp; there's no doubt about that. the constant patrols and the leadership role that came with the running the damn place helped somewhat, too. avoid, maneuver , survive. easier said than done. but it's a whole different ballgame when what was on the line, was on the line. the only reason he would ever leave maria and benji. to find one of their own. and to get some medicine, at the same time.

what he doesn't expect when he kills the clicker, going after that woman, was the face that his eyes meets. older. more put together, but definitely the same person. "holy shit." the curse slips through, before yells and a banging echoes from the other side of the warehouse. "yana?" it is her, isn't it? shit. "come on, come on. we gotta move."

After a whirlwind of an impromptu adventure, there was just one thing left to do. Watch the fireworks. And he has missed Ruby, sure; accidentally bumping into her throughout the beginning of this chaos had been a godsend. She's wonderful, after all, and forever will be. But something felt off. The weight of their last meeting still heavy on his hearts.

"Come on up, come on. Look that way." He pointed off into the distance, into the sky. "If I've timed this right .. it should start in a couple of seconds. Are you watchin', Rubes?"

"I hope you understand my need to take precautions, nonetheless," Maya replied, a half whisper of a smile touching the edges of her lips, a glance given to the loaded pistol sat on the counter within easy reach of where the doctor stood. "I know you've given me no reason to not believe you, but..." A moment's hesitation. "I don't have any reason to believe you, either." At least she sounded slightly apologetic. "I would ... I wish we were in a more controlled setting, or that I had any kind of proper equipment available." Her brows furrowed, and she let out a soft sigh. "I'm sorry if I sound ... unsympathetic. I don't mean to be. I've spent, well. Most of my life, trying to understand this disease, it's mutations, how it came to be, how it works. In all that time, I've never met anyone who ... had any kind of immunity, or survivability past the point of infection."

She was right and he hated the fact that she was right. He stops walking, Dogmeat coming to a stop near his feet, and barks slightly, looking up at the Ghoul and then over at Lucy.

The Ghoul kicks at the ground, kicking a small pebble away. "Doesn't mean I have to like it." He moves past Dogmeat, petting him on the head before he sits down on the ground, leaning back against some debris. Dogmeat wags his tail and follows the Ghoul, lying next to him.

"You've got to learn the rules of the wasteland. If you show weakness, chances are others will use it against you. So no offense, MacLean but I'm keeping you at arm's length." He felt something for her but he wasn't sure what exactly he felt. Years and years without showing or allowing any emotions would mess up and confuse anyone.

Lucy didn't want to be combative, didn't want to be a person who argued outside of constructive debates. She wanted to be nice, reasonable, to try to keep peace. And yet. The Ghoul just got to her. "None," she answered, and there was a defiant light in her eyes, "Now ask me how many of those... hard, difficult, violent people I came across have survived? One," her finger, the dead one ironically, pointed at him, and there was a part of her that wanted herself to shut up, because she wasn't being a good listener, but she ignored it. "And I think we can agree that even if you chose to be softer, you'd still survive because of your your fighting skills. And even so, without me choosing to be soft, you would have died at the Super Duper. That 'I don't need allies, I'll just kill everyone' mentality can only work so long, and it's entirely dependent on your pistol and luck. Being scared to be soft is what makes people weak."

She used so many words to be so wrong. He could argue that he was still alive because he was the hardest, most difficult and violent of them all but even he didn't believe that to be the truth. He might be high up the list but he knew there were plenty out there far worse than him, but he'd become those things out of necessity, everyone did. And so would she.

"Listen, we could go back and forth on this all day, and somethin' tells me you would, but you'll learn. Sooner rather than later."
