These Short Rib Sliders are soft and tasty, and they're great for any event. When you cook meat sous vide, it stays very tender and juicy, and the caramelized onions and Swiss cheese give it a rich, savory taste. Because of the way the ingredients are mixed, these sliders are a great appetizer that will go fast!
Ingredients: 1 lb beef short ribs. 1/2 cup beef broth. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tablespoons brown sugar. 1 teaspoon ground ginger. Salt and pepper to taste. 12 slider buns. 1 cup caramelized onions. 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard. 2 tablespoons butter, melted.
Instructions: Warm up the sous vide machine to 68F 155C. Add salt and pepper to the short ribs. Put beef broth, soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, and ginger in a sous vide bag. Put the short ribs in the bag and close it up tight. The short ribs will be cooked in the sous vide machine for 24 hours. When the short ribs are done, take them out of the bag and use two forks to shred the meat. Warm up the oven's broiler. Slipper buns should be split and put on a baking sheet. On the bottom half of each bun, spread mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. Put shredded beef, caramelized onions, and Swiss cheese on top. Melt some butter and brush it on top of the buns. In the oven, broil the sliders for about two to three minutes, or until the cheese melts and the buns get a little toasty. Take out of the oven and put together the sliders. Warm up and serve.
