Two things: 1) This is an excerpt of a poem I wrote last night called “Reaching”. It’s got 2 parts to it. I might add a part 3 today. Idk, maybe. 2) I purposely put that period there. It’s like a delayed period. So the idea was to make you (the reader) think the idea would continue but then you realize that it stops. It’s like when you are speaking to someone and the conversation or phrase you’re saying ends sooner than expected. Does it make sense?
