legs in the air & comfortably positioned on her stomach , she’s got the demon’s hand in her own to give his nails a touch - up ; the same black polish she wears & maybe a couple tiny skulls & bat’s wings if he can sit still for that long . “ god , the amount of CRAP under your nails is sick , & not in the cool way . ”

little heart pattering like a hummingbird within frail chest -- a couple of deep breaths, in and out, fists clenching and unclenching, attempting to find some semblance of calm! sky swivels on her feet, her light-up sketchers sending small rays of pink and blue across the floor, to look at the ... um ... very smelly man across from her! attempting to fill the nervous void of silence with talk, she asked: “ are you that goth girl’s dad? “
▒▓ *.:。✿ ❛❛ every night i lie in bed, the brightest colors fill my head; a million dreams are keeping me awake. i think of what the world could be, a vision of the one i see ... ❜❜ she’s not a child any longer but her delicate && wonder filled way of describing things has never left her, her aunt has told her she gets it from her mother --- whom used to read her POETRY and fairy tales when she was but a tiny babe. she doesn’t remember this but the idea is lovely of course. ❛❛ and you ?? do you dream ? ❜❜ she asks curiously, regarding him with her doe eyes.

There were very few occasions in which Lydia felt lonely. This evening was one of those few occasions. She had wandered into the little clearing in the woods in order to try and find a quiet place to write and time had gotten away from her, the sun slipping down from the sky which was now littered with stars. Before making her way back home, she decided to smoke some of the pot she Ash had given her the first time they had smoked together. And now that she was two hits in she felt a little wistful.
All she could think of was Beau. And in that moment she wanted him to be with him more than anything else. She closed her eyes and imagined him sitting their beside her, his hand in her’s as they talked about everything and nothing at all. She missed him then in a way she had never missed anyone before. She imagined what she would say to him right then in that moment if he were to appear beside her. She would tell him about the way her heart raced when he was near and how her head spun when he was a little too close and about all the things she wanted to do to him when he called her babes and teased her about shameless makeout sessions....
Lydia sighed as she opened her eyes, a small smile tugging at her lips as she continued to fantasize about him. That would be some power, she thought. The ability to summon someone just by thinking about them. Just by saying their name. “Beetlejuice,” she said aloud, her smile widening as she entertained the rather ludicrous idea. “Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!” She laughed to herself as she took another hit, exhaling a think cloud of smoke and watching it curl upwards and disappear into the sky.

His best friend and coworker, Thomas Hewitt was an eloquent man yet he was also a man of few words. He did not speak unless it was necessary and the only person who had heard his voice at all levels was his lovely daughter Angela.
Ash Williams knew something was different today when his companion was more than just grunts, nods and head-shakes. Leatherface’s lips were tight in a very big frown as he had approached the young man. “There is someone coming to the shop today. Snakes. There are snakes. Maybe even crocodiles if the head is to be believed.”
A look of incredulity hit Ash’s face as he stared back at his coworker. ❝Snakes? Ya don’t say?❞ With those sad droopy eyes that reminded Williams of that cartoon bloodhound, Hewitt nodded solemnly. “They told everyone to just go home. They don’t know how long the job is going to take. Or how dangerous this is.” The man’s onyx eyes shot down to the floor as though he were deep in thought. So predictable he was, Ash knew he was thinking about his kid; he’d have time to spend with her tonight but he would also (in his head) be taking food from her mouth with those missing hours of work.
❝Hey, you go straight home❞, Ash placed his hand on the other man’s shoulder. Those melancholy eyes met his own dark eyes and he could see that Thomas could be comforted. ❝Be with Angela. She might need help with homework.❞ He grinned at his friend, clicking his tongue as he winked at him. A tap on the shoulder and Williams excused himself from the conversation.
It may have been juvenile to disobey orders---even for a few minutes---but he wanted to see if there were really crocodiles somewhere in the work-site. They weren’t even that close to a large of body of water! If a croc got up here, hell, he’d be way impressed.
The door to the outside was pulled open and Ash was hit instantly by the warmth of the sun. He covered his eyes with a hand and scoped out the area. If he saw a crocodile, what would he even do? Run back inside or try to tackle it for fun?
His eyes moved to the farther right, but he didn’t see a killer croc. Instead he saw someone walking through the area. ❝Hey yo, there's supposed to be a killer croc the size of a small boat. Might wanna get the hell outta dodge.❞ He jerked his thumb towards the inside of the lumbermill as he raised his voice enough to be heard.
