does it ever drive you crazy how the only spells Lightning learns as saboteur are the debuffing ones (deprotect, deshell, poison and imperil) which are the same ones vanille knows during the first half of the game because those two are the ones in worst condition emotionally speaking (together with sazh and hope) and start passing on their Really Bad Copying Mechanisms Oh God Please I Beg You Go To Therapy to their respective partners WHO ARE HOPE AND SAZH (AND SURPRISE, THOSE 4 FORM THE "we learn Poison spell as saboteurs haha" TEAM [cause fang and snow don't])

AND TALKING ABOUT FANG AND SNOW, THE SAME THING HAPPENS WITH THEM snow only learns the debilitating spells as saboteur!!! (pain, fog, daze, curse and slow) WHICH ARE THE SAME ONES FANG CAN LEARN TILL THEY ARRIVE TO PULSE AND I WANT TO EMPHASIZE THE SLOW SPELL 'CAUSE THAT'S THE ONLY SPELL FANG CAN CAST WHEN THEY FIRST INTRODUCE HER AS A PLAYABLE CHARACTER IN CHAPTER 7 AND IT REPRESENTS HER URGE TO FIND VANILLE AND MAKE HER BRAND STOP SO SHE CAN SAVE HER THE SAME WAY SNOW JUST WANTS TO SAVE SERAH AND BE WITH HER

i just finished replaying for the 487382th time ffxiii aka my favorite game ever and i just could talk about it and its characters (they are my family i love all of them so much oh god im crying) for hours i can't anymore
