Summary: When Steve Rogers returns to Brooklyn, the marriage arranged for him having proven to be a sham, he is desperate; desperate to regain his footing in Society, desperate to secure a wealthy spouse capable of paying the costly treatments that keep his mother alive and settling his family's debts. But how is he to do that when people view him as nothing more than damaged goods, someone to be sneered at, ridiculed, looked down upon, or pitied at best?
An opportunity presents itself when Lord Barnes, the renowned carefree Casanova of Brooklyn, forgets himself during one night of drunken stupor, sending Steve a letter that flouts all laws of common decency. An agreement is soon made: in return for Steve's discretion, Lord Barnes will pretend to court him, taking him to the most fancy events of the season where Steve can be introduced to potential suitors. It all works out perfectly, until Steve comes to understand that Lord Barnes is not as pompous and self-absorbed as he believed....

Summary: Steve looks like a stranger these days, but at least the way he smiles at Bucky is the same: soft, fond, and a little bit smitten. It used to bother him, that the friend he considered a brother didn’t see him the same way. He’s never thought any less of Steve for it, but he also wasn’t quite comfortable with being the object of his affection. Now Bucky couldn’t care less how Steve loves him, as long as it means that Steve loves him most.

SUMMARY:
May you be in Heaven before the Devil knows you’re dead.
May these winds be always at your back.
‘Cause when we’re all just ghosts,
and the madness overtakes us,
we will look at the ashes
and say, “People lived here.”
When Steve meets the singer of Crimson Riot, on whom he may or may not be harboring a years long crush, and gets offered a job, Steve thinks it’s a dream come true. Getting paid to tour with his favorite band AND create art? It’ll just take some time to get used to the rockstar lifestyle. But as he gets to know James “Bucky” Barnes, and sees what’s underneath the drugs and the cocky attitude, he gives himself a new job: help Bucky before it’s too late.
Done for the 2017 @thestuckylibrary-bigbang . All of the love to @starmaki for creating such wonderful art for my fake band!!
There’s a lot of different kinds of people you see in the airport: the power business phone talker, the person who doesn’t know where they are, cheesy up-and-coming villains arriving to defeat Captain America…
Wait.
That last one isn’t something Bucky Barnes ever thought he would have to deal with working TSA at baggage claim, but well. Here he is. They show up with motives from ‘he’s immortal!’ to ‘he’s too hot to exist!’, and Steve Rogers himself is just happy to be there. Superheroes are weird.
Modern TSA!Bucky Barnes + Captain America Steve, post-Avengers. Coming to a fanfic site near you in August 2017. Should be a fun time.

Summary: New York City hosts millions of different people living vastly different lives. Some people are nannies who dream of being artists, and some are mobsters who dream of being more than the big guys’ drivers. A chance meeting—rather a chance game of nose goes—brings these two people together, and a simple knock at the door becomes fate. But can fate avoid disaster? Or will they both be left alone with only dreams?
Round 1 and Round 2 were a success, and we thank you for it! In this round, we are inviting all artists who claimed fics in R1 and R2 to claim additional fics in R3, if they wish to.
ROUND 3 OPENS AT 2PM BRT ON FRIDAY JUNE 16th AND RUNS FOR 24 HOURS. What time is that for you?
E-mails to come soon!
We will be sending out e-mails to artists and authors with details about R3 in a few hours. So please keep an eye on your inbox!
How claims work:
Round 3 allows for artists to claim additional fics to bring their total fics claimed up to a maximum of 5 for the entire BB. There is a limit of 3 artists allowed to be working on a single fic. Artists working on the same fic can collaborate if they wish to, but it isn’t by any means required.
About Claims:
Picks will run exactly like in the previous round. The number you must submit is the big one at the far left corner.
The Claim Form is currently closed and not accepting responses. You are required to list your email address, your profile url, and at least 1 summary choice, with the option of listing another 4 choices.
Here’s what the Claims Form will look like, with an example:
1 form = 1 claim!
If you wish to claim another fic, you will have to submit the form again with your choice/s. You can do that immediately after submitting one form. As the fics can be claimed two times in this round, each claim form can only be used to claim 1 fic, to give all artists an equal chance.
Here’s a sample of Person A who wants to claim multiple fics:
After you submit your claims, this is what what Claims Results sheet will look like:
As fics can be claimed several times in this round, there will be no priority given to resubmissions.
You will be able to see the claims happening live as forms are submitted, and see which number summary you have been allocated.
Please keep an eye on this spreadsheet after you lodge your claim form!
It may happen that all your 5 choices have already been claimed, in which case you will see that we have not allocated a number in the Final Assignment column and you will need to resubmit the claims form with other choices. If that is the case, the row will be highlighted in yellow and we will write ‘RESUBMIT’ in the final assignments column.
Since artists can claim up to a maximum of 5 fics, we will be checking to make sure artists don’t exceed their claims. Here’s how we’ll do it:
If you have a green box in your row, that means you can still claim fics, if you wish to! If you have a red box, it means you’ve reached or exceeded your number of claims and we won’t be allocating your claims anymore.
The Summaries Slides also look a bit different in this round, since fics can have up to 3 artists working on it!
You will be able to check which summaries are available and which have been claimed as we mark up the document at claims time. We will be marking them in two ways, as you can see in the example slide 184:
The little box in the upper right corner means the fic is still available for one more claim! The big ‘CLOSED FOR CLAIMS’ box means the fic has reached its maximum of 3 artists.
As you are probably aware, we are a little short staffed at the moment. The Mods will be emailing final assignment confirmations ASAP following this round of claims. Please be patient with us and let us know if you haven’t received yours within a week of claims taking place.
Let us know if you have any questions and Good Luck!
Progress for the Stucky Big Bang! Right now, just some concept sketches. I'm so excited! My partner is an excellent writer and is cooking up something amazing!
