After watching One in a Million, I couldn’t stop thinking about the people around me, the ones who support my little brand of Twice madness. I’m quiet right now, low on energy from all the crying I did during the documentary.

When I wrote these lyrics in Always Nine,

“I wonder if these friends I made through you

Will be the kind I hold onto?”

I was really thinking about these two I’m with right now.

They don’t know how thankful I am for them. I’ve always been the wallflower of the group, the one who goes with the flow, and they’ve never made me feel out of place. Most days, I’m the oldest sister, the one with the answers, the one who carries everyone’s emotions. And honestly, I don’t mind that. But with them, I get to be quiet. I get to rest.

I can’t even remember when I officially became part of their friendship, but I’m so glad I did.

Now I have two people who tolerate my Sana obsession, maybe even match it (most of the time they're crazier). They’re planning our wild Thailand trip as I write this, and I’m sitting here thinking, “Ah, here we go again…” but also, “Ah, I get to be part of it.”

Thanks to Twice, I found two people I’ll treasure for a very long time.
